A prolific scorer at forward from 2000 to 2003, Meg Tilley helped lead the Grove City College women’s soccer program to its first two NCAA Division III Championship Tournament appearances in 2002 and 2003. A native of Columbia, Md., Tilley concluded her career as Grove City’s all-time leading scorer with 68 goals and 35 assists.

In 2002, Tilley set a program record with 25 goals while earning the first of two NSCAA All-Great Lakes Region honors. She became the fi rst Grove City women’s soccer player to earn CoSIDA Academic All-America distinction.

Grove City earned its first trip to the NCAA Championship Tournament after posting a 13-6-2 record in 2002.

As a senior, Tilley earned the Presidents’ Athletic Conference Most Valuable Player award as well as All-Region recognition. She scored a team-leading 17 goals while helping the Wolverines capture 16 wins and a return trip to the NCAA Tournament.

Tilley also earned First Team Academic All-America honors, becoming just the third Grove City student-athlete to earn multiple Academic All-America citations.

Grove City went 8-0 in conference play in each of her first two seasons while winning consecutive league titles. Tilley scored 15 goals as a freshman and then recorded 11 goals and eight assists as a sophomore.

She earned First Team All-PAC in each of her four seasons. The PAC honored her on its 60th Anniversary Team in 2014.

Tilley graduated in 2004 with a bachelor’s degree in English/history. She earned a master’s degree in early American history from the College of William & Mary in 2006.
