Wolverines' 2026 volleyball schedule online

GROVE CITY, Pa. – A 27-match regular season schedule awaits the Grove City College women's volleyball program in 2026 as the Wolverines aim to repeat as Presidents' Athletic Conference champions this autumn.

For the first time since the spring 2021 COVID-affected schedule, Grove City will open the season at home. The Wolverines will host western Pennsylvania foe La Roche at 7 p.m. Tuesday, September 1 in non-conference action.

While 12 of Grove City's 27 matches will be played in the Grove City College Arena, the Wolverines will then play nine consecutive matches on the road or at neutral sites.

Grove City will compete in Saint Vincent's Bearcat Invitational on Labor Day Weekend September 4-5. The Wolverines will play Wooster and Penn State Behrend on the first day of the event, then square off with Carlow and Rochester Institute of Technology in Saturday's action in Latrobe.

Grove City will play its first true road match September 8 when the squad travels to New Concord, Ohio, to play Buckeye State power Muskingum.

The Wolverines' second tournament of the season will be hosted September 11-12 by Brockport (N.Y.) State. Grove City will play St. Lawrence University in the 6 p.m. opener September 11. It will be the first meeting between the programs since 2001. The next afternoon, Grove City will play Brockport State and Hilbert.

Following a September 16 trip to national power Carnegie Mellon, the Wolverines return home for a five-match homestand. That is part of a stretch in which Grove City will play 9 of 10 matches at home.

The first four matches in that period will be played September 18 and 19 as Grove City co-hosts a weekend tournament with nearby Westminster.

Twelve other programs will travel to the area to compete in the two-day competition. Grove City will host Marietta and Mount St. Joseph on the opening day. The Wolverines will then host Albion and Behrend in a pair of Saturday matinees.

The non-conference schedule concludes Wednesday, September 23 when Grove City hosts John Carroll, renewing a series that dates back to 1985, when both teams competed in the inaugural season of Presidents' Athletic Conference women's volleyball.

The conference schedule features a 12-match single round-robin format in 2026 and that 12-match gauntlet begins Saturday, September 26 at conference newcomer Saint Francis. The 2026-27 academic year is the first year of Saint Francis's transitional period from NCAA Division I to Division III. The Red Wolves are playing full conference schedules this year but results do not count in the conference standings.

Grove City then returns home for four consecutive home matches in a 10-day span. The Wolverines host Geneva at 7 p.m. September 30 before celebrating Homecoming Weekend with a 2 p.m. match Saturday, October 3 against Waynesburg.

The Wolverines will host Westminster and Washington & Jefferson the next week to cap the four-match homestand. Westminster visits Wednesday, October 7 while W&J comes to the College Arena two nights later for a 6:30 clash.

Five of Grove City's final seven regular season matches will be on the road, starting with an October 14 trip across Mercer County to Thiel. The Wolverines will then visit Bethany at 1 p.m. Saturday, October 17 during Fall Break.

Grove City has the conference's open date in the middle of the ensuing week and will return to action Saturday, October 24 to host Franciscan at 1 p.m. Respective road trips to Allegheny and Saint Vincent on October 28 and October 31 close out the month.

The Wolverines will host Hiram at 7 p.m. Wednesday, November 4 in the home finale. The regular season ends Saturday, November 7 with a 7 p.m. conference bout at Chatham.

The eight-team single-elimination conference tournament begins Tuesday, November 10.

Eighth-year head coach Leo Sayles (118-73) and his staff will welcome the team to campus in mid-August for preseason camp. This will be the 54th season of intercollegiate women's volleyball at Grove City College.
