LATROBE, Pa. -- The Grove City College women's volleyball team improved to 3-0 overall by earning two wins Saturday at the Saint Vincent Bearcat Invitational. Grove City swept Wooster in Friday's opener, 25-12, 25-19, 25-16. The Wolverines then captured a four-set victory over Penn State Behrend. Grove City won the nightcap 26-24, 23-25, 25-22, 25-12 at the Carey Center.

Annie Atwood (Kittanning, Pa./Armstrong) paced the Wolverines in the opener by recording a career-high nine kills. Senior

Brooke Manfull (Wadsworth, Ohio/Wadsworth) served a career-best six aces while freshman
Caitlin Penola (Zionsville, Ind.) had two aces. Manfull led Grove City with 15 assists from her setter post.

Reagan Riordan (Sewickley, Pa./North Allegheny) both recorded nine digs. Manfull had eight digs.

Alayna Dorst (Middletown, Del./Middletown) chalked up a season-high 15 kills in the victory over Behrend. Senior
Sarah Hart (Marriottsville, Md./Liberty) added 13 kills. Lagaras chipped in seven kills.
Senior setter
Sarah Harris (Lebanon, Ohio/Mars Hill) recorded 25 assists while Manfull had 16 assists. Dorst served a pair of aces.
Junior
Lilly Pool (Huntington, Ind./Ashland, Ohio) led the defense with six blocks. Klusch contributed four blocks while Hart, Lagaras and Ripple each had three blocks.
Junior libero
Lilly Wojtala (Copley, Ohio/Revere) totaled a team-leading 19 digs. Penola finished with 14 digs.
Grove City will play twice Saturday at Saint Vincent. The Wolverines face Carlow at noon, then close the weekend with a 4 p.m. bout against Rochester Institute of Technology.
