GROVE CITY, Pa. -- The American Volleyball Coaches Association (AVCA) honored the Grove City College women's and men's volleyball programs with the 2026 Team Academic Award in recognition of the teams' respective academic performance during the 2025-26 academic year. 

The Team Academic Award is presented to programs that maintain a year-long grade-point average of at least 3.3 on a 4.0 scale.

This is the 14th time in program history that the Grove City women's volleyball team has earned the AVCA Team Academic Award. The Wolverines most recently earned the honor in 2021. 

The men's program has merited the Team Academic Award in each of its first two seasons as an intercollegiate varsity program. 

Grove City won the Presidents' Athletic Conference women's volleyball title in 2025 and advanced to the NCAA Division III Championship Tournament. The Wolverines finished 20-9 overall. Meanwhile, the men's squad went 12-16 last spring and earned the No. 4 seed in the season-ending conference tournament.
