Grove City to host summer volleyball camps

GROVE CITY, Pa. -- The Grove City College women's and men's volleyball programs will host skills camps in July in the Grove City College Arena.

The seventh annual Girls Skills Camp will be held July 16-18. Grove City head women's volleyball coach Leo Sayles will direct the camp. Assistant women's and men's volleyball coach Emily Grossman and Grove City head men's volleyball coach Brett Heckathorn will assist Sayles, as will current and former Grove City players, including members of the 2025 Presidents' Athletic Conference championship squad.

The fifth annual Boys Skills Camp will be held the next week, July 23-25. Sayles will lead the camp, with Heckathorn serving as primary clinician and Grossman assisting. Current and former members of the Grove City men's volleyball program will also assist.

The individual resident rate for both camps is $345, with lower rates for commuters. Discounts are available for siblings/children of faculty and staff/children of alumni.

The women's volleyball program will also host a team camp July 20-22. The cost is $305 per athlete for overnight stay, with lower rates for commuting athletes and teams.

Interested student-athletes and schools can find information and register at www.wolverinevolleyballcamps.com. Spots are limited, so coaches and athletes are encouraged to register early. For more information, contact Coach Sayles directly at SaylesLR@gcc.edu, or call 724-967-2025.

This is Sayles' 27th year of directing high school skills camps for boys and girls. He has also worked on camp staffs at North Carolina, Tennessee, Alabama-Birmingham, Samford and Belmont, among other universities.
