NORTON, Mass. -- The Grove City College women's water polo team dropped a 10-4 decision Saturday afternoon to second-seeded Macalester in the semifinals of the Collegiate Water Polo Association Division III Championships, hosted by Wheaton College.
Sixth-seeded Grove City trailed 4-3 entering the fourth quarter but the Scots outscored Grove City, over the final eight minutes, 6-1.

Shastyn Tihansky (Hazleton, Pa./Hazleton) scored twice for Grove City while senior
Kiley Sill (Virginia Beach, Va./Princess Anne) and freshman
Emily Addison (Eads, Tenn./Faith Heritage Christian) also scored.

Amelia Hervey (Naperville, Ill./Metea Valley) all recorded an assist.
Tihansky tallied three steals while senior goalie
Lea Steen (Schaumburg, Ill./Schaumburg) had two steals. Steen stopped four shots.
Grove City will conclude the tournament and season Sunday at 11 a.m. by facing either Carthage or Augustana (Ill.) in the third-place match.
