GROVE CITY, Pa. – The Grove City College men's lacrosse team returns four All-Presidents' Athletic Conference selections and numerous other seasoned veterans for the 2026 campaign.
Under the guidance of ninth-year head coach
Alec Jernstedt, the Wolverines look to continue their ascent on the national scene as an influx of talented newcomers will blend with that deep veteran nucleus.
In goal, senior Brett Gladstone (Marriottsville, Md./Marriotts Ridge) has the inside track to take over as the full-time starter after making 24 appearances during his first three seasons. Gladstone went 3-0 last year while recording a career-low 5.25 goals-against average and a career-best .682 save percentage.
Junior
Kyle Gill (North Huntingdon, Pa./Norwin) will also challenge for the starting nod after playing in seven games in his first two seasons at the College.
Grove City's goalies will benefit from a veteran cadre of defenders, led by senior All-American
Sam Stevenson (Greenwood, Ind./Center Grove). Stevenson earned First Team All-PAC and All-America recognition in 2025 after causing 18 turnovers.
He is a two-time First Team All-Conference honoree.
Junior
Nate Clark (Oakwood, Ohio/Oakwood) earned First Team All-PAC at long stick midfielder in 2025 and is expected to again be a force at LSM or at defender this spring.
Clark is a two-year letterwinner who recorded 12 caused turnovers and 22 ground balls in 2025.
Senior defender/long stick midfielder
Andrew Glasgow (Wooster, Ohio/Wooster) also returns at the defensive end after playing in 54 total games during his first three seasons. He will compete for the starting long stick midfielder position, as well as at defender.
Graduate student
Samuel Busby (Doswell, Va./Patrick Henry) played in 18 games in 2024 and will look to reclaim a full-time spot on defense after being limited by injury in 2025. He recorded 11 caused turnovers in 2024, his first season at Grove City.
Junior
Ian Martti (Greensboro, N.C./Page) will also push for a starting assignment after making a career-high 17 appearances in 2025. He picked up 16 ground balls and caused nine turnovers during his sophomore campaign.
Senior
Aidan Nosal (Parker, Colo./Eaglecrest) joins Martti in the competition for a starting spot after appearing in eight games as a junior. Nosal has appeared in 22 career games.
The Wolverines also welcome back second-year junior
Evan Curry (Huntington Beach, Calif./Mater Dei), who made two starts in 2025. Curry added 10 goals and eight assists in his 15 apppearances.
Sophomore
Gabriel Mayer (Palm Harbor, Fla./Calvary Christian) made one start as a rookie and will push for a greater defensive role in 2026.
Another second-year junior,
Sawyer Strong (Westfield, Ind./Westfield) returns after earning Second Team All-PAC last year. Strong posted 30 goals and 15 assists last year and will likely be counted on again to help pace Grove City's offensive efforts at attack and/or midfielder.
Senior
Stewart McClain (Lancaster, Pa./Lampeter-Strasburg) scored a team-leading 10 man-up goals in 2025 and finished with 39 total tallies. He will look to secure one of the starting attack positions.
Seniors
Mac Faircloth (Greensboro, N.C./Page) and
Rigdon Greene (Marietta, Ga./Pope) join junior
Davis Schneider (Winfield, Ill./Wheaton Academy) as key returnees at attack.
Faircloth scored 20 goals as a rookie in 2023, and added eight goals last year after returning from an injury that sidelined him in 2024. Greene has accumulated 47 career goals and 41 assists as a three-year letterman. Schneider, meanwhile, rifled in 28 goals last year in 18 games played. He has 46 career goals and 29 assists in his first two seasons.
All three men will be counted on for offensive production again in 2026.
Sophomore attack
Tyler Blazek (Las Vegas, Nev./Bishop Gorman) is expected to complete for a starting spot this spring after making 16 appearances as a rookie.
Grove City's midfield also features several veterans with ample starting experience. Junior
Logan Fox (Charlotte, N.C./Charlotte Christian) earned Honorable Mention All-Conference as a defensive midfielder. Fox played in all 22 games, chalking up 50 ground balls and eight caused turnovers in 2025.
Senior
Boden Davidson (Scottsdale, Ariz./Scottsdale Christian) has played in 57 career games. An All-Region defensive back for the Grove City football team during his collegiate career, Davidson set career highs with 35 ground balls and eight caused turnovers as a junior.
Junior
Josh McDermott (San Juan Capistrano, Calif./Santa Margarita) has played in 36 career games at defensive midfielder during his first two seasons at Grove City. McDermott caused 11 turnovers in 2025 while adding four goals, two assists and 27 ground balls in his sophomore season.
At the offensive end, junior midfielder
Tyson Bui (Harleysville, Pa./Souderton) has been an integral part of Grove City's offensive efforts throughout his career. Bui recorded 29 goals and 17 assists last year after debuting with 19 goals in 2024.
Bui is expected to again be a key source of goals this spring.
Junior midfielder
Breck Peacock (Wayne, Ill./Wheaton Academy) joined the program prior to 2025 and contributed seven goals in his debut season.
Peacock aims for a greater role in the offensive this year, as does sophomore midfielder
Ethan Binns (Saint Johns, Fla./The Bolles School). Binns had nine goals and six assists last year as a freshman.
Senior
Colton Lehberg (Rancho Santa Fe, Calif./Santa Fe Christian) returns for his third season as Grove City's primary faceoff specialist. Lehberg won 65 percent of his faceoffs while also contributing two goals and three assists. He scored six goals in 2024.
Sophomore
Evan Gill (Irwin, Pa./Norwin) won 80 percent of his faceoffs last year as Grove City's No. 2 faceoff man. He will push Lehberg this year for the top spot.
Grove City opens the 2026 season Friday, February 6 against national power Salisbury in Towson, Md. The home schedule begins Saturday, February 14 when the Wolverines host Ohio Wesleyan. Conference play begins three days later as Grove City hosts Franciscan at 5 p.m.
