GROVE CITY, Pa. -- The Intercollegiate Men's Lacrosse Coaches Association (IMLCA) recently honored seven Grove City College men's lacrosse players as All-Region 4 selection in recognition of their respective performances during the 2025 season.

Zachary Hougan (Springboro, Ohio/Springboro) and
Zach Furry (Springboro, Ohio/Springboro) both earned First Team laurels. Hougan captured All-Region at attack while Furry earned his award at defender.Â

Sam Stevenson (Greenwood, Ind./Center Grove) each merited IMLCA Honorable Mention All-Region.
Hougan paced Grove City with 50 goals, 38 assists and 88 points this year. He recorded four assists in Grove City's NCAA Tournament second round game at Christopher Newport, giving him a program-best 116 career assists. Hougan also ranks third in program history with 143 goals and third with 259 career points.Â
Hougan earned Presidents' Athletic Conference Offensive Player of the Year honors, along with First Team All-PAC distinction. He earned Second Team United States Intercollegiate Lacrosse Association (USILA) All-America honors this year after achieving Honorable Mention USILA All-America in 2024.
Furry helped lead the Wolverines' defense this year by causing 14 turnovers. His efforts helped Grove City limit opponents to an 8.38 goals-against average. A four-year letterwinner and three-year starter at defender, Furry earned the conference's Defensive Player of the Year award, along with First Team All-PAC and Honorable Mention USILA All-America recognition.
Jones fired in 17 goals and added 12 assists in 2025 while also picking up 29 ground balls and causing six turnovers. He scored three goals against Albion in the NCAA Tournament opener May 7. Jones also earned First Team All-Conference distinction this season.
Clark earned All-Region after playing a key role in the Grove City defense at long stick midfielder. Clark caused 12 turnovers, including two in the Wolverines' NCAA second round clash at Christopher Newport. He picked up 22 ground balls and is also a 2025 All-Presidents' Athletic Conference First Team selection.
An Honorable Mention USILA All-American in 2025, Rios led Grove City with 83 ground balls in his first season at the College. He won 66.2 percent (180 of 272) of his faceoff chances this spring. Rios scored two goals and added three assists. He earned First Team All-PAC and the league's Specialist of the Year award.
Stone went 8-8 with a .541 save percentage this spring. He recorded 39 ground balls and 10 caused turnovers. A two-time USILA Honorable Mention All-American, Stone concluded his career as Grove City's all-time leader with 31 wins and 600 saves.Â
Stevenson led the Wolverines with 18 caused turnovers while also picking up 34 ground balls. A two-time USILA Honorable Mention All-American, Stevenson contributed four goals and five assists at the offensive end.Â
Grove City finished with a 14-8 overall record and won its sixth straight conference title. The Wolverines downed visiting Albion in the first round of the NCAA Division III Tournament, 18-3, before falling to No. 4 Christopher Newport in the second round of the tournament, 16-14.
Region 4 includes teams from the Old Dominion Athletic Conference, the Ohio Athletic Conference, the Presidents' Athletic Conference, the Southern Athletic Association and the USA South Conference.
