GENEVA, Ohio -- The Grove City College women's track and field team continued the 2025-26 indoor season Saturday by competing in SPIRE Institute's Midwest Open.
Sophomore
Hannah Herrmann (Hilton, N.Y./Paul V. Moore) posted Grove City's top finish at SPIRE by taking second in the pole vault. Herrmann cleared a Grove City-record 11 feet, 3 3/4 inches to earn runner-up honors in the meet.
Sophomore
Kiara White (Perkiomenville, Pa./Perkiomen Valley) earned fourth in the 60 meters with a time of 7.94 seconds while classmate
Nadine Lauffer (New Castle, Pa.) took fourth in the 400 with a time of 59.44 seconds. White and Lauffer both finished as the top Division III entrant in their respective events.
Senior
Audrey Karwowski (Canonsburg, Pa./Canon-McMillan) earned fifth in the 800 meters (2:22.08). Karwowski finished as the top Division III runner in the 800.
Junior
Kendall Coddington (Beaver Falls, Pa./Blackhawk) cleared a career-best 5-3 in the high jump to earn sixth place. Junior
Cayla Lawrence (Mendon, N.Y./Honeoye Falls-Lima) captured seventh in the mile (5:19.66) while sophomore
Lucy Gyergyo (Wexford, Pa./Eden Christian) earned eighth in the triple jump with a best leap of 34-5 1/2.
Grove City will compete in the Youngstown State Mid-Major Invitational next Friday and Saturday.
