BRIDGEPORT, Pa. -- The Collegiate Water Polo Association (CWPA) honored eight members of the Grove City College women's water polo team for their respective academic performance during the spring 2025 semester.
Recent graduates Samantha Logue (Hollister, Calif./San Benito) and
Riley McCullough (Spring, Texas/Oak Ridge) both earned "Outstanding" designation, as did rising senior
Lea Steen (Schaumburg, Ill./Schaumburg) and rising sophomore
Frances Baksa (Longwood, Fla./Lake Mary).
Rising senior
Kiley Sill (Virginia Beach, Va./Princess Anne) and rising sophomore
Zoe Luttrell (Naperville, Ill./Metea Valley) both achieved "Superior" honors. Recent graduate
Kamryn Kerr (East Grand Rapids, Mich./East Grand Rapids) and rising senior
Candace Scalise (Clarence, N.Y./Clarence) each earned "Excellent" designation.
Student-athletes who achieve a grade-point average of 3.71 or higher on a 4.0 scale are awarded "Outstanding" status. "Superior" designation goes to those who earn a GPA between 3.41 and 3.70. Student-athletes with a GPA of 3.20 to 3.40 receive "Excellent" status.
Grove City also earned CWPA Scholar-Athlete Team recognition as the Wolverines compiled a team grade-point average of 3.43.
