CLEVELAND, Ohio -- The Grove City College women's track and field team opened the 2025-26 indoor season Saturday by competing in Case Western Reserve's 12th annual Spartan Holiday Classic.
Junior
Kendall Coddington (Beaver Falls, Pa./Blackhawk) helped lead Grove City at the unscored meet by winning the high jump. Coddington cleared 5 feet, 1 inch to take the top spot. Coddington matched her career best while also recording her first collegiate meet victory.
Sophomore
Kiara White (Perkiomenville, Pa./Perkiomen Valley) paced the Wolverines on the track by posting a pair of runner-up finishes. She took second in the 60-meter dash with a time of 7.93 seconds, then earned runner-up in the 200 with a time of 26.32 seconds.
Sophomore
Nadine Lauffer (New Castle, Pa.) took third in the 400 with a time of 1:01.17. Sophomore
Lucy Gyergyo (Wexford, Pa./Eden Christian) placed fourth in the triple jump with a mark of 34-5 while senior
Megan Wise (West Sunbury, Pa./Moniteau) placed fifth in the shot put (35-1).
Gyergyo also finished sixth in the 60 hurdles with a time of 9.89 seconds. Freshman
Brooke Roberts (Germantown, Md.) finished seventh in the 800 (3:09.42) while junior
Victoria Leak (Andover, N.H./Merrimack Valley) finished seventh in the long jump with a leap of 15-7 1/2. Leak also finished eighth in the triple jump (30-7) while Gyergyo earned eighth in the long jump with a mark of 15-5 1/2.
Grove City returns to action January 17, 2026 with another visit to Case Western Reserve.
