Box Score WHITE OAK, Pa. -- The Grove City College men's basketball team dropped a 72-70 decision Friday night at Penn State Greater Allegheny in non-conference action at Wunderly Gymnasium. Friday's game marked Grove City's final tuneup before the start of Presidents' Athletic Conference action in December.
Seniors
Mike Christenson (Oakton, Va./Trinity) and
Kyle Randle (Willowick, Ohio/Eastlake North) both fired in 22 points to help lead the Wolverines (1-4). Randle buried five three-pointers while Christenson went 4 for 8 from behind the three-point line as Grove City finished with a dozen three-pointers as a team.
Greater Allegheny, meanwhile, went 9 for 16 (56 percent) from behind three-point line. Overall, the Lions shot 50 percent (27 of 54) from the field while Grove City finished the game 24 of 59 (41 percent).
Grove City doubled up Penn State Greater Allegheny on the glass, earning a 36-18 rebound edge. Junior center
Owen Wolf (South Lyon, Mich./Firebirds H.E.A.) collected seven rebounds while sophomore forward
Liam Conklin (Enfield, Conn./Northwest Catholic) had six rebounds.

Anderson Skelton (Charlotte, N.C./South Mecklenburg) recorded a team-leading four assists. Christenson, senior forward
David Olinger (Glenside, Pa./Phil-Mont Christian) and junior guard
Colton Martin (Centerburg, Ohio/Centerburg) all had three assists.
Skelton also blocked four shots while Conklin recorded three steals. Grove City turned over the ball 11 times while Penn State Greater Allegheny had nine turnovers.
Five Lions scored in double figures, led by Biagio Crossley's 20 points.
The Wolverines will host Geneva at 7:30 p.m. Wednesday, December 3 in the conference opener.
