GROVE CITY, Pa. -- The Grove City College men's basketball team placed two players on the Presidents' Athletic Conference's All-Conference Teams, as announced Wednesday night.
Senior forward
Mike Christenson (Oakton, Va./Trinity) earned a spot on the league's First Team while the conference's head coaches named senior guard
Kyle Randle (Willowick, Ohio/Eastlake North) as an Honorable Mention selection.
Christenson ranked third in the conference this season in scoring as he averaged a team-leading 19.4 points per game. The 6-foot-5 swingman also averaged 6.0 rebounds and a team-leading 2.4 assists per game.
He shot 46 percent from the field overall, including 45 percent (45 of 100) accuracy on three-point goals.
Christenson became the fifth player in program history to score 500 or more points in one season this winter. He finished with 505 points, which ranks sixth in single-season program history. Christenson concluded his career as Grove City's No. 6 all-time leading scorer with 1,302 points.
Christenson also ranks fourth in program history in career three-point accuracy (44.2 percent). His 118 career three-pointers are ninth in Grove City history.
Christenson averaged 19.9 points per game in conference play.
Randle bombed in 67 three-point goals this year on the way to averaging a career-high 15.9 points per game. The 6-0 Randle added a team-leading 45 assists while also averaging 4.1 rebounds per game.
His 67 three-pointers rank fifth on Grove City's single-season list while his 120 career three-point goals are the No. 8 mark in program history. Randle also became the 20th man in program history to score 400 or more points in one season as he concluded the year with 413 points.
Randle averaged 16.6 points per game in conference play and hit 41 three-pointers against league opposition.
The conference also recognized senior forward
David Olinger (Glenside, Pa./Phil-Mont Christian) as a member of its Sportsmanship Team. Olinger played in 22 games this year, including two starts.
Grove City finished 8-8 in conference play this year.
