GROVE CITY, Pa. -- Grove City College senior men's basketball player Mike Christenson (Oakton, Va./Trinity) earned D3hoops.com All-Region 7 honors Monday morning in recognition of his performance during the 2025-26 season.

The 6-foot-5 swingman earned Second Team honors through voting conducted by the region's sports information directors.

Christenson averaged 19.4 points, 6.0 rebounds and 2.4 assists per game this season. He led the team in scoring and assists while ranking second in rebound average. Christenson ranked third among the Presidents' Athletic Conference scoring leaders this year on his way to First Team All-Conference accolades.

He shot 46 percent from the field overall, including 45 percent (45 of 100) accuracy on three-point goals. 

Christenson became the fifth player in program history to score 500 or more points in one season this year. He finished with 505 points, which ranks sixth in single-season program history. Christenson concluded his career as Grove City's No. 6 all-time leading scorer with 1,302 points. 

Christenson ranks fourth in program history in career three-point accuracy (44.2 percent). His 118 career three-pointers are ninth-most in Grove City history.

Christenson is Grove City's first D3hoops.com All-Region selection since James Wells earned the award in 2020.

Region 7 includes the Presidents' Athletic Conference, the Allegheny Mountain Collegiate Conference, the Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association, the North Coast Athletic Conference and the Ohio Athletic Conference. University Athletic Association members Carnegie Mellon and Case Western Reserve are also part of Region 7.
