GROVE CITY, Pa. -- The Presidents' Athletic Conference honored two Grove City College fall sports athletes with weekly recognition Monday afternoon after their respective performances last week in conference play. 

Junior midfielder Noah Gray (Glen Mills, Pa./The Christian Academy) captured Offensive Player of the Week honors in men's soccer for the second time in the last three weeks. Junior cornerback Dominic DiNinno (Apollo, Pa./Kiski Area) earned Defensive Player of the Week distinction in football.

Gray scored two goals in each of Grove City's two wins last week on the road in conference play. He scored twice in the first 27 minutes last Wednesday night in a 4-1 victory at Hiram. Two nights later at Westminster, Gray scored two first-half goals in a 3-0 blanking of the Titans.

Gray leads the conference with 12 goals and 27 points. He has four multi-goal games this year and now owns 22 career goals. 

DiNinno intercepted two passes Saturday afternoon in Grove City's 24-14 Homecoming win over Waynesburg at Robert E. Thorn Field. He returned his second interception 48 yards for a touchdown in the second quarter to give Grove City a 10-0 lead.

DiNinno's first pick came at the Grove City 5 late in the first quarter, thwarting a Waynesburg scoring opportunity. He added four tackles and a pass breakup Saturday. DiNinno now has 25 total tackles, along with his team-leading three interceptions.

The Grove City men's soccer team (8-2-2, 5-0-1) will host Franciscan (6-0 PAC) at 4:30 p.m. Wednesday in a battle for first place in the conference. Meanwhile, the football team (3-2, 2-1) visits Allegheny at 4 p.m. Saturday in conference action.
