GROVE CITY, Pa. -- Three Grove City College winter sports athletes earned weekly honors Monday afternoon from the Presidents' Athletic Conference in recognition of their respective performances last week.

Rachael Wallace (Hopewell, Pa./Hopewell) earned Women's Swimmer of the Week honors Monday afternoon. Grove City also produce a pair of PAC Rookies of the Week. Freshman guard
Jonah Bock (Erie, Pa./McDowell) captured Rookie of the Week in men's basketball while freshman distance runner Lydia Bennett (Bethel, Maine/Gould Academy) secured Rookie of the Week in women's indoor track and field.
Wallace helped lead Grove City at the Calvin Winter Classic last Thursday-Saturday by taking third overall in the 100 butterfly. Wallace posted a time of 56.56 seconds in the finals, which surpasses the NCAA Championships provisional qualifying standard. She also took fifth in the 200 butterfly (2:09.00) and eighth in the 50 free (24.57).
Wallace also led off Grove City's sixth-place performance in the 200 medley relay (1:48.75) at the Classic, which featured several NCAA Division II powerhouses. She also led off the seventh-place 200 free (1:39.14) and 400 free (3:38.26) relays.
This is Wallace's fourth Swimmer of the Week award this season.Â
Bock averaged 11.5 points per game last week, helping Grove City split a pair of conference games. He rifled in five three-pointers Saturday as part of a career-high 15 points to help Grove City earn an 81-69 win at Bethany. Bock went 7 of 13 (53.8 percent) from behind the three-point line last week.Â
Bock leads Grove City with 11 three-point goals this season. He ranks fourth on the team in scoring, averaging 6.6 points per game. He leads the team's rookies in scoring.
Friday night at Youngstown State's season-opening Icebreaker meet, Bennett earned third in the 3000 with a time of 10 minutes, 56.80 seconds. She finished as the top Division III entrant in the event.
The swimming and diving teams, as well as the track and field squads, return to action in 2022. The tankers return to action January 15 with a non-conference meet at Penn State Behrend. Meanwhile, the track and field teams will compete in the S.P.I.R.E. Midwest Open in Geneva, Ohio, January 21-22.
Bock and the men's basketball team will visit Kenyon at 7 p.m. Tuesday in non-conference play.
