BEREA, Ohio -- Several members of the Grove City College women's and men's track and field teams competed Friday afternoon and evening at Baldwin Wallace University's annual Harrison Dillard Twilight meet, held at George Finnie Stadium.
Two Grove City performers recorded third-place finishes in middle distance events on the women's side. Senior
Audrey Karwowski (Canonsburg, Pa./Canon-McMillan) earned third in the 800 by posting a time of 2 minutes, 13.53 seconds. Meanwhile, junior
Cayla Lawrence (Mendon, N.Y./Honeoye Falls-Lima) captured third in the 1500 with a time of 4:38.79.Â

Kendall Coddington (Beaver Falls, Pa./Blackhawk) cleared 4 feet, 11 1/2 inches in the high jump to claim sixth place. Lawrence added an eighth-place arrival in the 800 (2:15.50). Sophomore
Hannah Herrmann (Hilton, N.Y./Paul V. Moore) finished 10th in the pole vault by clearing 11-1.Â

Caleb Haley (Mechanicsville, Va./Atlee) led Grove City's men by earning fifth in the triple jump. Haley posted a top leap of 40 feet, 9 inches. Sophomore
Jeremiah Knowles (Ephrata, Pa./Ephrata) took 11th in the 400 with a time of 49.77 seconds.
Several Grove City athletes have qualified for the All-Atlantic Region Track and Field Conference (AARTFC) Championships, which will be held next Thursday and Friday at Ursinus College.
