COLLEGEVILLE, Pa. -- The Grove City College women's track and field team won the meet-ending 3200-meter relay Thursday afternoon at the All-Atlantic Region Track and Field Conference (AARTFC) Championships, hosted Wednesday and Thursday by Ursinus College.
Sophomore
Julianna Lindberg (Manheim, Pa./Manheim Central), junior
Annie Herrmann (Kenosha, Wis./Indian Trail), junior
Cayla Lawrence (Mendon, N.Y./Honeoye Falls-Lima) and senior
Audrey Karwowski (Canonsburg, Pa./Canon-McMillan) closed the two-day event by winning the 4x800 relay in a time of 9 minutes, 16.82 seconds.
Lawrence recorded Grove City's top individual finish by placing fifth in the 1500. She recorded a time of 4:37.56. Karwowski set a Grove City record in the 800 meters by recording a time of 2:12.68. Karwowski's record-setting performance placed her sixth individually.
Lindberg placed 10th in the 1500 (4:47.64) while sophomore
Nadine Lauffer (New Castle, Pa.) took 10th in the 400 with a time of 57.61 seconds. Lauffer, Lindberg, sophomore
Megan Marchand (Cumming, Ga./Forsyth Central) and sophomore
Hannah Roegiers (Marion, N.Y./Marion Central) teamed to take 14th in the 1600 relay with a time of 3:59.59.

Lucy Gyergyo (Wexford, Pa./Eden Christian) and sophomore
Kiara White (Perkiomenville, Pa./Perkiomen Valley) combined to finish 16th in the 400-meter relay. That quartet combined for a time of 49.12 seconds.
White also finished 16th in the 100 meters (12.31) and 21st place in the 200 (25.52). Gyergo led Grove City in the field events by finishing 21st in the long jump with a top leap of 16 feet, 6 inches. She also finished 23rd in the triple jump by marking at 35-1 1/4.
Junior
Victoria Leak (Andover, N.H./Merrimack Valley) took 24th in the javelin with a top throw of 89-5. Herrmann came home 34th in the 800 with a time of 2:22.45.
The Wolverines finished the meet with 17 team points, good for 20th in the team standings.
