GROVE CITY, Pa. -- The Grove City College track and field teams will send 24 athletes to the All-Atlantic Region Track and Field Conference (AARTFC) Championships, which will be held Wednesday and Thursday at Ursinus College in Collegeville, Pa. Twelve members of the men's team have qualified, along with a dozen women's track and field athletes will compete in the two-day event.

Grove City will compete in all three relay events on the men's side. Senior Alex Mitchell (Hummelstown, Pa./Harrisburg Christian), sophomore Jeremiah Knowles (Ephrata, Pa./Ephrata), sophomore Brandon Kendrew (Harmony, Pa./Seneca Valley) and freshman Joseph Brallier (Bedford, Pa./Bedford) will compete in the 4x100 relay after posting a season-best time of 42.53 seconds at the Presidents' Athletic Conference Championships.

Brallier and Knowles will also comprise one half of Grove City's 1600 relay team, which also includes senior Isaac Busler (Butler, Pa./Butler) and sophomore Eli Miller (Wheeling, W.Va./Wheeling Park). Grove City's top 4x400 relay time of 3:20.97 also came at the conference championships.

Busler, Miller, junior James Yoho (Woodbridge, Va./Woodbridge) and sophomore Joshua Haley (Mechanicsville, Va./Atlee) will represent the Wolverines in the 3200 relay, an event not regularly held during the outdoor season.

Mitchell, Knowles and Brallier will also compete in the 400 meters. Mitchell posted a season-best time of 47.85 seconds while taking first at the conference championships. Knowles recorded a 49.09 at Slippery Rock University's John Papa Invitational April 16 while Brallier's season-best 400 time of 49.63 seconds came at the conference championships.

Three men will compete in field events for Grove City. Wiley recorded a season-best throw of 185 feet, 2 inches April 24 at Allegheny College's Marty Goldberg Invitational. Caleb Haley marked at 45 feet, 1 3/4 inches in the triple jump at the conference championships. Divito cleared 6-5 in the high jump April 11 at Westminster and also had his season-best long jump of 22-5 3/4 that day in New Wilmington.

Like the men's team, Grove City's women's squad will be entered in all three relay events. Sophomores Lucy Gyergyo (Wexford, Pa./Eden Christian), Nadine Lauffer (New Castle, Pa.), Hannah Roegiers (Marion, N.Y./Marion Central) and Kiara White (Perkiomenville, Pa./Perkiomen Valley) will compete in the 400 relay.
