NEW WILMINGTON, Pa. -- The Grove City College men's track and field team earned three wins at the Westminster College Invitational, held Saturday at Memorial Field.
Senior
Alex Mitchell (Hummelstown, Pa./Harrisburg Christian) won the 400 meters while two freshmen joined him as victors. Freshman
Colsen Frank (Grove City, Pa./Grove City) took the 1500 while freshman
Elijah Divito (Pittsburgh, Pa./Eden Christian) prevailed in the long jump at the unscored meet.
Mitchell recorded a winning time of 48.83 seconds in the 400 while Frank won the 1500 in a time of 4:08.18. Divito posted a top leap of 22 feet, 5 3/4 inches to take the long jump.
Sophomore
Joshua Haley (Mechanicsville, Va./Atlee) earned runner-up in the 1500 with a time of 4:09.93. Grove City placed third in the 400-meter relay as Divito, sophomore
Jeremiah Knowles (Ephrata, Pa./Ephrata), freshman
Joseph Brallier (Bedford, Pa./Bedford) and senior
Greg Wilson (Akron, Ohio/Revere) combined for a time of 43.06 seconds.
Senior
Ethan Wiley (Mercer, Pa./Mercer) fired the javelin 179 feet, 8 inches to finish fourth in that event. Divito finished fifth in the high jump by clearing 6-5. Mitchell, sophomore

Owen Hill (Pittsburgh, Pa./North Hills) and junior
Jacob Call teamed to take fifth in the 1600 relay with a time of 3:33.33.
Freshman
Isaiah Weindelmayer (Ashland, Va./Cap City) took fifth in the 10,000 meters with a time of 36:12.10. Senior
Isaac Busler (Butler, Pa./Butler) finished sixth in the 800 (1:59.76) while sophomore
Caleb Haley (Mechanicsville, Va./Atlee) placed sixth in the triple jump with a best leap of 43-1.
Brallier finished seventh in the 400 with a clocking of 51.30 seconds.
Grove City will compete in the Slippery Rock University John Papa Invitational this Thursday.
