Alex Mitchell (Hummelstown, Pa./Harrisburg Christian) earned Track Athlete of the Week in men's indoor track and field while freshman
Elijah Divito (Pittsburgh, Pa./Eden Christian) captured Newcomer of the Week.

Tieg Malcolm (New Philadelphia, Ohio/Homeschooled) is this week's Defensive Player of the Week in men's volleyball.
Mitchell won both the 200 and 400 meters Saturday at Case Western Reserve's Spartan Icebreaker. He recorded a time of 23.61 seconds in the 200 and a winning time of 49.61 seconds in the 400. Mitchell then anchored Grove City's winning 4x200 relay, (1:32.40).Â
Divito won the long jump at Case Western Reserve with a best leap 21 feet, 3 1/2 inches. He contributed to Grove City's winning 800 relay (1:32.40) and took second in the high jump by clearing 6-2 3/4. Divito ranks third in the conference so far this year in the high jump.Â
Malcolm averaged 1.29 blocks per set in the opening two weeks of the 2026 season. Saturday, Malcolm recorded five blocks and five kills against Baldwin Wallace, then posted 10 blocks and two aces against Elizabethtown. He opened the season January 10 with three blocks and seven kills against Cairn.
The Grove City track and field team returns to action Saturday at the SPIRE Midwest Open in Geneva, Ohio. Meanwhile, the men's volleyball team visits Mount Union at 7 p.m. Tuesday.
