GROVE CITY, Pa. -- The Presidents' Athletic Conference selected Grove City College freshman Elijah Divito (Pittsburgh, Pa./Eden Christian) as its men's track and field Newcomer of the Week. 

Divito earned the award Tuesday afternoon in recognition of his performance last Saturday at Case Western Reserve University's Spartan Holiday Classic.

He made his collegiate debut by taking second in both the long and triple jumps at Case Western Reserve. Divito marked at 22 feet, 10 inches in the long jump, then posted a best leap of 43-10 3/4 in the triple jump.

Divito also cleared 6 feet, 3/4 inch to finish fifth in the high jump. He owns the conference's top marks in the long jump and triple jump while ranking third in the high jump after the first weekend of competition.

Grove City returns to action Saturday, January 17, 2026 by returning to Case Western Reserve.
