ALLISON PARK, Pa. -- The Grove City College men's golf team placed seventh out of 14 teams Monday at the La Roche Invitational. Grove City finished the day with a team score of 341 at Wildwood Golf Course. Pitt-Greensburg won the tournament with a 311 while Penn State Behrend placed second with 323.
Sophomore
Seth Hartman (Pittsburgh, Pa./Penn-Trafford) led Grove City by finishing 10th overall with an 80. Senior
Michael Astrab (North Huntingdon, Pa./Norwin) tied for 20th by carding an 83 while sophomore
Will Nelson (Pittsburgh, Pa./Trinity Christian) shot 87, good for 33rd.
Junior
Daniel Artale (Lititz, Pa./Homeschooled) earned 53rd with a 91 while freshman Topher Drombetta (Canfield, Ohio/Canfield) rounded out the lineup by finishing 65th. He shot 100.
Pitt-Greensburg's Zachary Abdallah earned medalist with a 75. Seventy-three golfers competed in Monday's event.
Grove City returns to action Saturday at the Franciscan Invitational in Steubenville.
