ALLIANCE, Ohio -- The Grove City College women's track and field team recorded several notable performances Friday afternoon and evening at the unscored Mount Union Tune-Up meet.
Grove City earned runner-up in both relay events. The quartet of senior

Nadine Lauffer and freshman
Kiara White (Perkiomenville, Pa./Perkiomen Valley) combined for a time of 1 minute, 49.62 seconds in the 800-meter relay.

Cayla Lawrence (Mendon, N.Y./Honeoye Falls-Lima), junior
Audrey Karwowski (Canonsburg, Pa./Canon-McMillan) and senior
Lydia Bennett (Bethel, Maine/Gould Academy) took second in the 1600 relay with a time of 4:07.94.
Lawrence added a second-place finish in the 800 with a time of 2:21.66. Senior
Grace Smith (Dover, Ohio/Dover) claimed second in the mile with a time of 5:10.63. Freshman
Julianna Lindberg (Manheim, Pa./Manheim Central) took third in the 800 (2:23.23).
Sophomore
Elly Bruner (Lancaster, Pa./Lampeter-Strasburg) led Grove City in the high jump by taking fourth. Bruner cleared 5 feet, 1 3/4 inches.
Senior
Danika Sudar (Monaca, Pa./Central Valley) placed fifth in the weight throw with a top toss of 46-2. Freshman
Lucy Gyergyo (Wexford, Pa./Eden Christian) placed fifth in the triple jump (33-9 1/2), one spot ahead of Bruner, who marked at 33-4 1/2.
Senior
Kaylynn Johnson (Otisfield, Maine/Oxford Hills) took fifth in the mile (5:25.37) while White finished sixth in both the 60 (8.09) and 200 (26.63) dashes. White posted a time of 8.00 seconds in the preliminaries, which ranks second all-time at Grove City.
Sophomore
Kendall Coddington (Beaver Falls, Pa./Blackhawk) earned sixth in the high jump by clearing 4-11 3/4.
Sophomore
Annie Herrmann (Kenosha, Wis./Indian Trail) took seventh in the 400 meters (1:04.65) while Vezzosi finished seventh in the long jump (16-6). She also placed eighth in the triple jump with a mark of 32-8 1/4. Bruner's best long jump of 16-5 earned her eighth place.
Gyergyo finished ninth in the 60 hurdles (10.19) while sophomore
Mia Clutter (Blairsville, Pa./River Valley) finished ninth in the 400 with a time of 1:06.85.
The Wolverines will compete Thursday in the Presidents' Athletic Conference Championships, held at Youngstown State University.
