GROVE CITY, Pa. -- The Presidents' Athletic Conference honored two Grove City College women's soccer players with weekly honors Monday afternoon after the duo helped the Wolverines clinch the top seed in the season-ending conference tournament.

Maddie Mills (Niskayuna, N.Y./Niskayuna) earned Defensive Player of the Week distinction while freshman forward
Lauren Muhanna (Pittsburgh, Pa./Moon) earned Newcomer of the Week recognition.
Mills made four saves last Wednesday night as Grove City blanked host Waynesburg, 4-0, to clinch the top seed in the conference tournament. She earned her 11th win of the season while recording Grove City's ninth consecutive shutout.
Mills owns an 11-4-2 record this year, along with an .802 save percentage and a 1.10 goals-against average. She is 10-0-1 in conference play. Mills has recorded a .926 save percentage and a 0.21 GAA in conference action.
Muhanna scored a goal and added an assist Wednesday night at Waynesburg. She leads the conference with nine assists this season. Muhanna has five goals and ranks second on the team with 19 points. She has four goals and 16 points in 10 conference matches.
Grove City (11-4-2) will host No. 5 Franciscan at 7:30 p.m. Wednesday in the conference tournament semifinals at Don Lyle Field.Â
