GROVE CITY, Pa. -- The Presidents' Athletic Conference honored Grove City College women's basketball player Kat Goetz (Pittsburgh, Pa./Avonworth) as this week's Player of the Week in recognition of performances last week in two road victories. 

A 5-foot-11 senior forward, Goetz averaged 18.5 points and 9.5 rebounds per game as Grove City earned wins at Waynesburg and Thiel. She posted 22 points and 11 rebounds last Wednesday night in an 80-42 victory at Waynesburg University. Goetz went 10 of 14 from the floor in her 20 minutes of action.

Saturday, Goetz recorded 15 points and eight rebounds in 16 minutes as the Wolverines picked up a 100-63 win at Thiel. Goetz shot 62.5 percent (15 of 24) from the field in the two wins.

Goetz leads Grove City (11-12, 10-8 PAC) in scoring and rebounding, averaging 11.9 points and 7.7 boards per game. She is shooting a team-best 45.7 percent from the field.

The Wolverines close the regular season this week with a pair of home conference games in the Grove City College Arena. Grove City hosts Washington & Jefferson at 5:30 p.m. Wednesday. Saturday, Grove City hosts Chatham in the regular season finale at 1 p.m.
