STRUTHERS, Ohio -- The Grove City College baseball team dropped an 8-4 decision to Westminster Saturday afternoon in an elimination game at the 2011 Presidents' Athletic Conference Championship Tournament at Bob Cene Park. The Wolverines then took a 4-3 lead in the fifth when senior shortstop Scott Moran (Columbia, Md./Chapelgate Christian) singled, stole second, advanced on an error and came home on a single by freshman third baseman Tom Hawley (Aurora, Ohio/Aurora).

Grove City took a 1-0 lead in the top of the first when Parker singled in Moran.

Wells doubled twice and Hawley went 3 for 4. Senior left fielder Butch Kriger (Pittsburgh, Pa./Montour) doubled.
