Five earn IMLCA All-Region

GROVE CITY, Pa. -- The Intercollegiate Men's Lacrosse Coaches Association (IMLCA) honored five Grove City College men's lacrosse players as All-Region 4 selections Tuesday afternoon.

Senior defender Sam Stevenson (Greenwood, Ind./Center Grove) earned First Team All-Region while senior faceoff specialist Colton Lehberg (Rancho Santa Fe, Calif./Santa Fe Christian) and senior attack Mac Faircloth (Greensboro, N.C./Page) both captured Second Team All-Region.

Senior attack Rigdon Greene (Marietta, Ga./Pope) and graduate student defender Samuel Busby (Doswell, Va./Patrick Henry) each merited a spot on the Third Team.

Stevenson helped lead the Grove City defense by causing a team-high 22 turnovers. He also ranked second on the team with 54 ground balls while scoring a career-best 15 goals in 2026. Stevenson earned Presidents' Athletic Conference Defensive Player of the Year honors, along with First Team All-Conference.

He also earned United States Intercollegiate Lacrosse Association (USILA) Honorable Mention All-America honors for the third straight season. Stevenson previously earned Honorable Mention All-Region in both 2024 and 2025.

Lehberg led the conference by winning 66.8 percent of his faceoffs this year, including a combined 29-for-52 effort in Grove City's two NCAA Division III Championship Tournament games. He led the Wolverines with 134 ground balls while also scoring a career-high 13 goals.

The conference selected Lehberg as its 2026 Specialist of the Year. He also earned First Team All-PAC distinction. Lehberg earned USILA Honorable Mention All-America recognition last month.

The Presidents' Athletic Conference Offensive Player of the Year this spring, Faircloth pumped in a team-leading 46 goals. He also led Grove City with 63 points, setting career highs in both goals and points. Faircloth scored eight goals in Grove City's two conference tournament wins, earning the tournament's Most Outstanding Player award. He then scored six more goals in the Wolverines' NCAA Tournament tilts against Ohio Wesleyan and Lynchburg.

Greene joined Faircloth in helping lead Grove City's balanced offensive attack this season. A First Team All-PAC selection, Greene registered 23 goals and chalked up a career-high 20 assists in 2026. This is Greene's first All-Region citation.

Busby joined Stevenson in leading Grove City's defensive unit this spring by causing a career-high 21 turnovers. A first-year full-time starter in 2026, Busby also picked up 37 ground balls in his 21 starts. He earned USILA Honorable Mention All-America, along with First Team All-Conference recognition in May.

Grove City posted a 14-8 overall record and a 9-0 mark in conference play. The Wolverines earned a 14-9 win May 6 at Ohio Wesleyan in the first round of the NCAA Tournament, then concluded the season with a 16-15 setback at No. 8 Lynchburg in the second round of the tournament May 9.

Region 4 includes the Presidents' Athletic Conference, the Ohio Athletic Conference, the Old Dominion Athletic Conference, the Southern Athletic Association and the U.S.A. South Athletic Conference. Forty-six men's lacrosse programs compete in Region 4.
