Wolverines cap regular season with sweep

Box Score NEW WILMINGTON, Pa. -- The Grove City College men's tennis team concluded the 2024-25 regular season Thursday by capturing a 7-0 Presidents' Athletic Conference victory at conference foe Westminster. The Wolverines improved to 7-1 in the conference, which secures them the No. 2 seed in next week's conference tournament.

The Wolverines (10-4) dropped only four games in doubles play as their sweep gave them the team doubles point. Grove City then chalked up six straight-set wins in singles play to complete the 7-0 sweep.

As the No. 2 seed, Grove City receives a bye into the semifinals of the six-team conference tournament. The Wolverines will host either No. 3 Franciscan or No. 6 Westminster next Thursday at 4 p.m. in the semifinals at Walters-Zbell Courts. Franciscan will host Westminster in the quarterfinal round Tuesday.
