GROVE CITY, Pa. -- The Presidents' Athletic Conference honored five Grove City College men's volleyball players as All-Conference selections Tuesday night.
Junior middle blocker
Tieg Malcolm (New Philadelphia, Ohio/Homeschooled) and freshman defensive specialist
Ben McVey (Midlothian, Va./Cosby) both earned Second Team All-PAC. Honorable Mention All-PAC went to sophomore setter
Craig Fair (Stevens, Pa./Cocalico), senior outside hitter
Quintin Norris (Savannah, N.Y./North Rose-Wolcott) and freshman outside hitter
Keith Otto (Irwin, Pa./Penn-Trafford).
Malcolm led the conference with 95 total blocks and a 1.02 blocks-per-set average. He averaged 1.15 blocks per set during conference play this spring. Malcolm also served a team-leading 40 aces and recorded a team-leading .269 hitting percentage. Malcolm averaged 1.60 kills while starting all 29 matches for the Wolverines (14-15).
McVey ranked second in the conference in digs, averaging 2.72 per set. He played in 26 matches this year as Grove City's primary libero.Â
Fair directed Grove City's offense in all 29 matches this year and averaged 8.21 assists per set. Fair also served 19 aces and ranked fourth on the team with 44 blocks.Â
Norris, the only senior in the Wolverines' regular rotation this year, ranked third on the team in kills by averaging 1.77 per set. Norris also posted 48 blocks, third-best on the team. He averaged 1.51 digs, good for second on the squad.Â
Otto led the Wolverines in kills per set, averaging 2.35. He also recorded 36 total blocks and served 16 aces while playing in 27 matches.Â
The conference also honored senior
Cael McEwen (Grove City, Pa./Grove City) as a member of its Sportsmanship Team. McEwen teamed with Norris and classmate
Jim Shyu (Murrysville, Pa./Franklin Regional) to help lead the Wolverines through their inaugural season of varsity competition in 2025.
Grove City went 8-4 in the conference this year and earned the second seed in the season-ending conference tournament. The Wolverines defeated Hiram, 3-1, in the semifinals before falling at Thiel in the championship match last Saturday night.Â
