GREENVILLE, Pa. -- The Grove City College men's volleyball team concluded its first season of intercollegiate varsity action Saturday night by dropping a 25-20, 25-17, 25-16 decision to top-seeded Thiel in the championship match of the Presidents' Athletic Conference Tournament at the Tomcats' Rissell-Beeghly Gymnasia.
Sophomore
Max Gianneski (Butler, Pa./Butler) led second-seeded Grove City (14-15) with nine kills while
Quintin Norris (Savannah, N.Y./North Rose-Wolcott) added eight kills. Freshman
Keith Otto (Irwin, Pa./Penn-Trafford) chipped in with seven kills.
Sophomore
Craig Fair (Stevens, Pa./Cocalico) recorded 28 assists.
Defensively, junior
Tieg Malcolm (New Philadelphia, Ohio/Homeschooled) and sophomore
Andrew Kessler (Jeannette, Pa./Penn-Trafford) each had three blocks. Norris posted a pair of blocks.
Freshman libero
Ben McVey (Midlothian, Va./Cosby) tallied a team-leading nine digs.
The 2025 season marked the first year of Presidents' Athletic Conference men's volleyball play. Grove City went 8-4 in conference action during the regular season, then defeated Hiram in the semifinals Thursday night to meet Thiel in the first-ever PAC championship match.
The Wolverines will lose Norris, middle blocker

Cael McEwen (Grove City, Pa./Grove City) and defensive specialist
Jim Shyu (Murrysville, Pa./Franklin Regional) to graduation.
