GROVE CITY, Pa. -- The Grove City College women's swimming and diving team secured its sixth straight Presidents' Athletic Conference title Saturday night by finishing the four-day conference championships with 991 team points. Grove City accumulated a 304-point margin of victory over runner-up Saint Vincent at the meet, held in James E. Longnecker Pool.

The Wolverines highlighted Saturday night's finals by winning three events. Freshman Ellie Webster (Westfield, Ind./Westfield), senior Sarah Kuchma (Pittsburgh, Pa./North Hills), sophomore Ashley Rauhauser (York, Pa./Homeschooled) and senior Emma Plank (Slippery Rock, Pa./Slippery Rock) closed the meet by winning the 400 free relay in a time of 3 minutes, 37.19 seconds. 

Rauhauser also won the 200 backstroke in a winning time of 2:10.37. Freshman Hadleigh McNay (Tucker, Ga./Tucker) recorded Grove City's third win of the night as she took the 200 breaststroke in 2:25.64. 

Junior Sarah Janicki (Denver, Colo/Austin Waldorf) took second in the 200 breaststroke (2:31.12) while Plank placed second in the 100 free with a time of 53.38 seconds. Senior Mikaela Jenkins (Evansville, Ind./F.J. Reitz) finished runner-up in the 200 butterfly (2:15.08). 

Kuchma finished third in the 100 freestyle (54.33) while freshman Aubrey Schroeder (Mount Airy, Md./South Carroll) finished third in the 200 backstroke (2:15.25). 

Senior Allison Dieter (Huron, Ohio/Huron) captured fourth place in the 200 breaststroke in a time of 2:33.39. Senior Olivia Getek (Grasonville, Md./Kent Island) took fourth in the 200 butterfly (2:20.56) while freshman Freja Kile (Pittsburgh, Pa./Upper St. Clair) placed fourth in the 1650 (18:44.74). She finished one place ahead of senior Alex Frank (Asheville, N.C./Asheville Christian), who recorded a fifth-place time of 18:54.82. 

Sophomore Jamie Durstein (Pittsburgh, Pa./Seton La Salle) took fifth in the 200 backstroke (2:16.47) while Webster earned fifth in the 100 free in a time of 54.77 seconds. Junior Sadie Shofestall (Brookville, Pa./Brookville) earned sixth in the 100 free (55.58). Freshman Pippin Lochstet (Ambler, Pa./Upper Dublin) took sixth in the 200 butterfly with a time of 2:24.70.

This is Grove City's 22nd all-time conference title since the program's inception during the 1988-89 academic year.
