CLARION, Pa. -- Freshmen
Mollie Massella (Slippery Rock, Pa./Slippery Rock) and
Abigail Vance (Butler, Pa./Butler) both earned two individual wins Saturday as the Grove City College women's swimming and diving team closed its 2025-26 dual meet schedule with a 196-82 setback at Division II PennWest Clarion.
Massella swept the butterfly events while Vance won both the 200 butterfly and 200 individual medley. Massella won the 100 butterfly in a time of 58.99 seconds and then posted a time of 2:07.52 to win the 200 butterfly.
Vance posted a winning mark of 2:24.17 in the 200 breaststroke, then won the 200 IM in 2:11.16.Â

Abby Tweed (Beaver Falls, Pa./Blackhawk) opened Saturday's competition by winning the 200 medley relay in a time of 1:51.56.Â
Vance moved into third place in program history in the 200 breaststroke. Her time of 2:11.16 is No. 9 all-time at the College in the 200 individual medley. Massella moved into sixth place in the 200 butterfly in program history.Â
Grove City will host the Presidents' Athletic Conference Championships February 18-21 at James E. Longnecker Pool.
