GROVE CITY, Pa. -- Three relay wins and three individual victories Wednesday and Thursday have helped propel the Grove City College women's swimming and diving team into first place at the Presidents' Athletic Conference Championships, held in James E. Longnecker Pool.
Grove City accumulated 434 points during the first two days of the four-day event and owns a 196-point lead over second place Saint Vincent (238).Â
Wednesday night, Grove City swept the 200 medley relay and 800 free relay to take an early hold of first place in the team standings. Freshman

Mollie Massella (Slippery Rock, Pa./Slippery Rock) and sophomore
Ellie Webster (Westfield, Ind./Westfield) capped Wednesday night with a winning time of 7:50.74 in the 800 free relay.Â
Thursday night, Rauhauser, McNay, Massella and Tweed won the 400 medley in a time of 3:58.25.Â
Tweed also won the 50 free in 24.35 seconds as Grove City posted a 1-2-3-4 sweep. Senior
Sadie Shofestall (Brookville, Pa./Brookville) took second in 24.49 seconds while Rauhauser (24.61) and Webster (24.87) followed.Â
Grove City also took the top four spots in the 200 individual medley. Freshman
Abigail Vance (Butler, Pa./Butler) edged
Addison Vance by 0.43 seconds with win the event.
Abigail Vance recorded a time of 2:09.19 while
Addison Vance took second in 2:09.62.Â
McNay finished third in the 200 IM (2:14.71) and sophomore
Aubrey Schroeder (Mount Airy, Md./South Carroll) earned fourth (2:16.30).Â
Freshman diver
Chaeli Keenan (New Alexandria, Pa./Derry) won 1-meter diving with an 11-dive total of 409.35 points. Keenan qualified for the NCAA Regional Championships with her total.
Freshman
Mackenzie Stone (Grove City, Pa./Homeschooled) took third on the low board with 296.70 points.Â
Massella took second in the 500 (5:15.72) while sophomore
Marideth Hull (Cranberry Township, Pa./Eden Christian) posted a fourth-place time of 5:19.40 in the 500. Kile claimed fifth place in the 500 (5:19.72).
Freshman
Mary Anne Altman (Sarver, Pa./Freeport) took sixth in the 50 free (25.26). Sophomore
Pippin Lochstet (Ambler, Pa./Upper Dublin) earned sixth place in the 200 individual medley, posting a time of 2:18.86.
Action resumes at 10 a.m. Friday with preliminaries. The finals will begin at 5:30 p.m.
