GROVE CITY, Pa. -- The Grove City College women's swimming and diving team continues to set the pace at the Presidents' Athletic Conference Championships by extending its lead over second place Saint Vincent to 181 points after the conclusion of Friday night's finals session.
Thanks in part to four wins Friday, the Wolverines now have 665 points after three days of action at James E. Longnecker Pool. Saint Vincent is second with 484 points.Â
Grove City closed Friday's session by winning the 200 free relay. Senior
Emma Plank (Slippery Rock, Pa./Portersville Christian), senior
Sarah Kuchma (Pittsburgh, Pa./North Hills), junior
Sadie Shofestall (Brookville, Pa./Brookville) and sophomore
Ashley Rauhauser (York, Pa./Homeschooled) combined for a winning time of 1 minute, 38.64 seconds in the 200 free relay.Â
Plank and Rauhauser also secured individual wins. Plank won the 400 individual medley in 4:42.22 while Rauhauser captured the 100 backstroke in a time of 58.71 seconds.Â
Freshman
Hadleigh McNay (Tucker, Ga./Tucker) won the 100 breaststroke in 1:06.43.
Junior
Sarah Janicki (Denver, Colo./Austin Waldorf) placed second in the 100 breaststroke (1:08.88) while senior
Olivia Getek (Grasonville, Md./Kent Island) touched second in the 400 IM with a time of 4:50.63. Freshman
Pippin Lochstet (Ambler, Pa./Upper Dublin) earned third in the 400 IM (4:52.06) while Kuchma placed third in the 100 butterfly in 1:00.26.Â
Senior
Alex Frank (Asheville, N.C./Asheville Christian) earned third in the 200 free (1:59.79) and sophomore
Jamie Durstein (Pittsburgh, Pa./Seton La Salle) finished third in the 100 backstroke (1:01.62).Â

Mikaela Jenkins (Evansville, Ind./F.J. Reitz) took fourth in the 100 butterfly (1:00.73) while freshman
Ellie Webster (Westfield, Ind./Westfield) finished fourth in the 200 free with a time of 2:00.96. Freshman
Gianna Bracken (Indiana, Pa./Indiana) placed fourth in the 100 breaststroke by recording a time of 1:11.22.Â

Allison Dieter (Huron, Ohio/Huron) posted a fifth-place tim of 4:57.36 in the 400 IM. Freshman
Freja Kile (Pittsburgh, Pa./Upper St. Clair) finished fifth in the 200 free (2:01.39) while freshman
Aubrey Schroeder (Mount Airy, Md./South Carroll) placed sixth in the 100 backstroke in a time of 1:03.32.Â
