GROVE CITY, Pa. -- The Grove City College women's swimming and diving team won 16 events Friday night on the way to a 239-48 victory over visiting Saint Vincent in the Wolverines' home and Presidents' Athletic Conference openers at James E. Longnecker Pool.
Eleven performers captured individual wins, with three performers winning twice. Freshman diver
Chaeli Keenan (New Alexandria, Pa./Derry) swept both the 1- and 3-meter competitions. She posted a winning score of 251.60 on the low board, then recorded a 158.70 total to win 3-meter diving. Keenan qualified for the NCAA Regional Championships with her performance Friday night.

Marideth Hull (Cranberry Township, Pa./Eden Christian) won the 200 butterfly in a time of 2 minutes, 22.48 seconds and also captured the 1000 in a time of of 11:13.28. Freshman
Abigail Vance (Butler, Pa./Butler) swept the breaststroke, winning the 100 in 1:08.75 and posting a victorious time of 2:31.95 in the 200 breaststroke.

Sadie Shofestall (Brookville, Pa./Brookville) won the 50 free in 25.79 seconds while sophomore
Ellie Webster (Westfield, Ind./Westfield) prevailed in the 100 free (56.03). Freshman
Mollie Massella (Slippery Rock, Pa./Slippery Rock) took the 200 free (2:01.90) and freshman
Abby Tweed (Beaver Falls, Pa./Blackhawk) won the 500 in a time of 5:29.38.

Katie Quinn (Edinboro, Pa./General McLane) touched first in the 100 backstroke (1:02.70). Sophomore
Freja Kile (Pittsburgh, Pa./Upper St. Clair) completed Grove City's backstroke sweep by winning the 200 in 2:17.62.

Mary Anne Altman (Sarver, Pa./Freeport) won the 100 butterfly in 1:03.29 while classmate
Addison Vance (Butler, Pa./Butler) won the 200 individual medley (2:17.57).

Hadleigh McNay (Tucker, Ga./Tucker) won the 200 medley relay in a time of 1:53.22. Tweed,
Abigail Vance, Shofestall and Webster closed out the meet with a victorious time of 1:42.95 in the 200 free relay.
Grove City (3-2, 1-0) will host Wooster next Saturday, November 15 at 1 p.m.
