OBERLIN, Ohio -- The Grove City College men's cross country team made its final preparations for the upcoming Presidents' Athletic Conference Championships by finishing 10th Saturday at Oberlin College's Inter-Regional Rumble. Grove City concluded the meet with 280 team points. Case Western Reserve won the event with 84 points.
Freshman
Colsen Frank (Grove City, Pa./Grove City) led the Wolverines by placing 22nd overall Saturday. Frank completed the 8,000-meter course in 26 minutes, 7.30 seconds.Â
Senior
Luke Roberts (Post Falls, Idaho/Post Falls) took 42nd in 26:33.60 while classmate
Michael Singley (Duncannon, Pa./Susquenita) placed 58th with a time of 26:50.00.
Freshman
Tyler Davis (Wexford, Pa./North Allegheny) captured 75th (27:03.00) while senior
Caleb Hawke (Grove City, Pa./Grove City) finished 93rd with a 27:19.80 performance.
Freshman
Kaiden Williams (Bellefonte, Pa./Bellefonte) took 103rd (27:33.40). Senior
Jacob Colbert (Sagamore Hills, Ohio/Nordonia) rounded out the scoring lineup with a time of 28:16.70. Colbert finished 149th.
The race featured 227 men. Unattached performer Charles Namiot won the event with a time of 24:59.80.
Grove City will compete in the conference championships November 1 at Allegheny College.
