GROVE CITY, Pa. -- Recent Grove City College graduate Nick Guidas (Gibsonia, Pa./Pine-Richland) earned consensus Division III All-America honors this week as the American Baseball Coaches Association (ABCA) and D3baseball.com both recognized the Wolverines' standout left-handed pitcher. 

The ABCA honored Guidas as a Third Team All-American while D3baseball.com named Guidas to its All-America Fifth Team.

Guidas led the Presidents' Athletic Conference with a 2.10 earned run average this year. He struck out a league-high 96 batters while also leading the loop with 81 1/3 innings pitched. Opponents hit .212 against Guidas, who went 6-4 in 13 starts.

The conference's 2024 Pitcher of the Year, Guidas finished his career with 258 strikeouts. That ranks second in program history. The left-hander's 96 strikeouts this spring also rank second on Grove City's single-season list. Guidas went 19-9 during his Grove City career, which ranks him fifth in program history in wins.

The ABCA honored Guidas as its Region VII Pitcher of the Year. Guidas earned All-Region honors from both the ABCA and D3baseball.com earlier this week. 

It is the third straight season in which a Grove City player has earned All-America honors from ABCA and/or D3baseball.com Pitcher Tate Ostrowski earned All-America distinction in both 2023 and 2024.
