STEUBENVILLE, Ohio -- The Grove City College women's swimming and diving team split a Presidents' Athletic Conference double dual meet Saturday afternoon at Steubenville High School's Big Red Pool. Grove City picked up an 89-67 win over Bethany while host Franciscan clipped the Wolverines, 169-64. 

Four Grove City performers earned victories Saturday. Junior Sadie Shofestall (Brookville, Pa./Brookville) won the 200 free with a victorious time of 2 minutes, 16.75 seconds while junior Leah Boardman (Laurel, Md./Annapolis Christian) prevailed in the 100 free (1:03.92).

Junior Samantha Eaton (Pittsburgh, Pa./Hampton) captured the 200 butterfly (2:52.32) and sophomore Amanda McGurk (Dallas, Pa./Lake Lehman) touched first in the 100 breaststroke (1:16.16).

Grove City will return to action Saturday, January 18 at 1 p.m. when the Wolverines host Penn State Behrend in a non-conference dual meet.
