GROVE CITY, Pa. -- The Grove City College women's swimming and diving team dropped a 223-70 verdict Saturday afternoon to visiting Rochester in a non-conference dual meet at James E. Longnecker Pool.
Sophomore
Ashley Rauhauser (York, Pa./Homeschooled) won the 100 backstroke for Grove City in a winning time of 1 minute, 2.15 seconds. She also took third in the 100 free (58.14).
Freshman
Freja Kile (Pittsburgh, Pa./Upper St. Clair) earned second in the 200 free with a time of 2:03.26. She added a third-place finish in the 500 (5:38.96). Fellow freshman
Hadleigh McNay (Tucker, Ga./Tucker) placed third in both breaststroke events. She recorded a time of 1:10.03 in the 100 breaststroke, then went 2:35.92 in the 200 breaststroke.
Grove City will compete in the Wheaton (Ill.) Invitational December 5-7.
