GROVE CITY, Pa. -- The Grove City College women's swimming and diving team opened its dual meet schedule Saturday afternoon with a 180-118 home setback against Division II Ashland at James E. Longnecker Pool.
Freshman
Hadleigh McNay (Tucker, Ga./Tucker) secured two of Grove City's five wins Saturday as she swept the breaststroke. McNay won the 100 in a time of 1 minute, 9.29 seconds, then won the 200 breaststroke in a time of 2:33.09.
Freshman
Aubrey Schroeder (Mount Airy, Md./South Carroll) won the 100 butterfly in 1:03.99 and classmate
Freja Kile (Pittsburgh, Pa./Upper St. Clair) won the 500 in a time of 5:36.70.
Senior
Kamryn Kerr (East Grand Rapids, Mich./East Grand Rapids) opened the meet by winning 1-meter diving. Kerr recorded 225.85 points on her six dives.
The Wolverines will visit Saint Vincent in the Presidents' Athletic Conference opener Friday, November 8 at 6 p.m.
