LATROBE, Pa. -- The Grove City College women's volleyball team improved to 5-0 by securing a pair of sweeps Saturday at the Saint Vincent Bearcat Invitational. Grove City earned a 25-2, 25-8, 25-10 victory over Carlow in Saturday's opener and then nailed down at 25-14, 25-16, 25-17 victory over Rochester Institute of Technology in the finale at the Carey Center.

Caitlin Penola (Zionsville, Ind.) led Grove City's balanced offensive attack against Carlow by posting seven kills. Junior
Lilly Pool (Huntington, Ind./Ashland, Ohio) and sophomore
Taylor Ripple (New Bethlehem, Pa./Redbank Valley) each chipped in four kills.

Brooke Manfull (Wadsworth, Ohio/Wadsworth) recorded 12 assists and sophomore
Eliana Porta (Hartland, Mich./Hartland) added 10 assists. Porta served seven of Grove City's 20 aces while Penola served four aces. Manfull, senior

Reagan Riordan (Sewickley, Pa./North Allegheny) all had two aces.
Ripple led the defense with four blocks. Riordan recorded seven digs.

Sarah Harris (Lebanon, Ohio/Mars Hill) had 10 assists. Manfull tallied nine assists. Manfull also served three aces while Dorst, Penola and junior
Lilly Wojtala (Copley, Ohio/Revere) all had a pair of aces.
Klusch posted seven blocks in the nightcap while Wojtala had 13 digs.
The Wolverines will travel to Muskingum for a 6:30 p.m. non-conference match Tuesday.
