GROVE CITY, Pa. – A three-runner senior class will help lead the Grove City College women's cross country team in 2026 as the Wolverines aim for a return to the top of the Presidents' Athletic Conference.

Alayna Bishop (Grove City, Pa./Grove City), Annie Herrmann (Kenosha, Wis./Indian Trail) and Cayla Lawrence (Mendon, N.Y./Honeoye Falls-Lima) comprise that senior trio, which helped Grove City to the conference title in 2023.

Bishop capped her junior season by finishing a career-best 50^th at the conference championships while Herrmann has been a lineup regular in each of her first three seasons.

Lawrence returns this fall after studying abroad in 2025. As a sophomore, she finished 42^nd at the NCAA Mid-Atlantic Championships after a 26^th-place arrival at the conference championships. Lawrence is expected to be a fixture in the scoring lineup again this year.
Grove City's six-woman junior class features two returning All-PAC honorees in Rebekah Burger (San Diego, Calif./Cambridge) and Julianna Lindberg (Manheim, Pa./Manheim Central).

Burger earned Honorable Mention All-PAC by taking 20^th overall at the conference championships. She enters her second season at Grove City.

Lindberg finished a team-leading 15^th at the 2025 conference meet, earning Honorable Mention All-PAC for the second straight season.

Juniors Maggie Mollenauer (Pittsburgh, Pa./North Hills) and Abigail Nelson (Cheverly, Md.) also return after earning spots in Grove City's scoring lineup at the conference championships. Both competitors will look to move up in the lineup this year.

Juniors Lily Lawson (Grove City, Pa./Grove City) and Sarah Sabella (Grove City, Pa./Grove City) are also back and are in pursuit of full-time spots in the scoring lineup.

Sophomores Erika Doolittle (Clarington, Pa./Brookville), Ali Parish (Memphis, Tenn./Crosstown) and Lydia Wheaton (Bluemont, Va./St. Sebastian) round out Grove City's returnees for 2026.

Doolittle led Wolverine rookies by taking 28^th at the conference championships last year. Parish earned 57^th at the PAC meet while Wheaton capped her rookie year by taking 70^th at the conference championships.

Head coach Paul Collier and the Wolverines also welcome nine newcomers to the program this season.

Grove City opens the season September 4 at Westminster College's Fisher Invitational. The conference championships will be held October 31 in Youngstown, Ohio.
