LOCK HAVEN, Pa. -- The Grove City College men's cross country team placed 10th out of 22 teams in the Crimson race Saturday morning as part of the Lock Haven University Invitational. Grove City finished with 288 team points. Division II Northwood won the event with 32 team points.

Sophomore Colsen Frank (Grove City, Pa./Grove City) posted Grove City's top finish by taking 16th overall. Frank completed the eight-kilometer course in a time of 25 minutes, 24 seconds.

Fellow sophomore Kaiden Williams (Bellefonte, Pa./Bellefonte) earned 63rd in a time of 26:31.3 while freshman Carson Witt (Hagerstown, Md./North Hagerstown) placed 71st (26:39.1). 

Sophomore Sam Elston (Gibsonia, Pa./Pine-Richland) came home in 81st place (26:45.4), five spots ahead of freshman Isaac Esh (New Providence, Pa./Solanco). Esh recorded a time of 26:48.3. Fellow rookie Luke Ray (Menomonie, Wis./Menomonie) took 88th place in a time of 26:52.1. 

Freshman Isaac Burtt (Beaver, Pa./Beaver) took 110th place (27:12.8) and senior James Yoho (Woodbridge, Va./Woodbridge) captured 111th in 27:14.0.

The race featured 184 men. Lebanon Valley's Rory Lieberman won the event in a time of 24:43.1

Grove City returns to action Friday at the Lehigh University Paul Short Invitational.
