GREENVILLE, Pa. -- The 20th-ranked Grove City College women's soccer team scored three times in the first 21 minutes Tuesday evening on the way to a 4-0 victory at Thiel in Presidents' Athletic Conference action at Alumni Stadium.
Junior forward
Kiara White (Perkiomenville, Pa./Perkiomen Valley) opened the scoring at 4:22 by registering her fourth goal of the season. Senior defender
Meghan Tischler (Bethel Park, Pa./Bethel Park) assisted White's goal.
The lead swelled to 2-0 six minutes later as sophomore forward
Emily Horst (Leesburg, Va./Loudoun County) scored an unassisted goal. The first-half outburst ended at the 20:56 mark when freshman
Annabelle Van Gilder (Encinitas, Calif./Santa Fe Christian) scored her first collegiate goal.

Marina Hahn (Beaver, Pa./Beaver) assisted Van Gilder's goal.

Grace Platt (Elgin, Ill./Wheaton Academy) closed the scoring by scoring on a penalty kick 12:47 into the second half. It is Platt's third goal of the season.
Grove City (5-0-2, 2-0-1) outshot the Tomcats (4-3, 0-2) by a 22-2 margin. Grove City had 10 shots on goal and did not permit Thiel to put a shot on goal. The Wolverines also had a 5-2 edge in corner kicks.

Ella Lotz (McKeesport, Pa./South Allegheny) earned the shutout victory by playing all 90 minutes.
The Wolverines will host Carnegie Mellon at 4 p.m. Wednesday. That will be the conclusion of a suspended September 9 match, held at CMU. Inclement weather halted the match approximately 10 minutes into the game, with Carnegie Mellon owning a 1-0 lead.
