Grove City draws at S.V.C.

LATROBE, Pa. -- The Grove City College women's soccer team doubled up host Saint Vincent in both shots and shots on goal Saturday evening but neither team broke through offensively as the Presidents' Athletic Conference foes played to a scoreless draw at UPMC Field.

Grove City (4-0-2, 1-0-1) held a 16-8 edge in total shots and a 4-2 margin in shots on goal. Grove City outshot the Bearcats 8-4 in each half. 

Saint Vincent (4-1-1, 0-0-1) accrued seven corner kicks while Grove City had seven corners. 

Senior goalie Maddie Mills (Niskayuna, N.Y./Niskayuna) made two saves to preserve the Wolverines' fifth straight shutout. 

Grove City will visit Thiel at 5 p.m. Tuesday in conference action.
