GROVE CITY, Pa. -- The Grove City College men's soccer team posted its third shutout of the 2026 season Thursday night as the Wolverines battled visiting Penn State Behrend (2-0-2) to a scoreless draw in non-conference play at Don Lyle Field.

Grove City (1-0-3) limited the Lions to one shot on goal. Overall, Grove City owned a 12-5 advantage in total shots and a 5-1 margin in shots on goal. Grove City also collected nine corner kicks while Behrend had two corners. 

Sophomore goalkeeper Keller Krieger (Jacksonville, Fla./Providence) earned the shutout by making one save. He is the third different Grove City netminder to record a shutout this year, joining senior Anthony D'Ippolito (Mars, Pa./Eden Christian) and sophomore Caedmon Whipple (Canton, Mich./Plymouth Christian). 

As a team, Grove City owns a 0.50 goals-against average so far this season. 

Thursday's match had been scheduled for Wednesday night but inclement weather forced it to be pushed back 24 hours. The match also closes Grove City's season-opening four-match homestand. 

The Wolverines open their road schedule Saturday at 2 p.m. with a non-conference match at La Roche.
