GROVE CITY, Pa. -- The Grove City College women's lacrosse team secured its 10th straight victory Tuesday afternoon by blanking visiting Saint Vincent (7-4, 3-3) in Presidents' Athletic Conference action, 23-0, at Don Lyle Field. Grove City (10-3, 6-0) led 8-0 after one quarter, pushed the lead to 11-0 by halftime and then scored six times in each of the final two periods.
Six Grove City players scored multiple goals in Tuesday's triumph. Junior midfielder
Jess Robinette (Mohnton, Pa./Twin Valley) fired in five goals as part of an eight-point outing while junior attack
Gwen Shilling (Murrysville, Pa./Franklin Regional) and freshman midfielder
Avery Anderson (Wexford, Pa./North Allegheny) both scored four times.

Tori Stevenson (Butler, Pa./Butler) scored three goals while senior attack
Jackie Rowell (Laurel, Md./Reservoir) and junior attack
Taylor Blythe (Mendon, N.Y./Honeoye Falls-Lima) both scored a pair of goals.

Reese Hasley (Cheswick, Pa./Deer Lakes), sophomore midfielder
Mia Mygatt (Silver Spring, Md./Brookewood) and freshman defender
Gabri Hallam (Buffalo, N.Y./Clarence) also pumped in goals.
Blythe joined Robinette in having eight points as she assisted on six goals. Robinette and Rowell both tallied three assists while Hallam had two assists. Anderson, Mygatt and senior attack
Grace Forry (Lancaster, Pa./Hempfield) all recorded one assist.
Hallam led the Wolverines with seven ground balls and seven draw controls. Shilling recorded four draw controls while Mygatt and freshman
Addy Porter (Jenks, Okla./Jenks) both had three draw controls. Rowell had five ground balls while Hasley, Mygatt and Stevenson all picked up three ground balls.
Hallam also caused four turnovers. Anderson and Hasley each caused three turnovers. Overall, Grove City harassed Saint Vincent into committing 25 turnovers. The Wolverines had 13 turnovers.
Grove City owned a 39-2 edge in shots. Senior goalie
Mia Gallagher (Mogadore, Ohio/Archbishop Hoban) made two saves to secure the shutout.
Grove City's 10-game winning streak matches the longest in program history. The Wolverines won 10 straight games four years ago.
The Wolverines will visit conference rival Hiram at 12 p.m. Saturday.
