BOARDMAN, Ohio -- The Grove City College women's golf team concluded the 2025-26 season Friday and Saturday by taking third at the Presidents' Athletic Conference Spring Championships, held at Mill Creek Park Golf Course. When combined with the 36 holes from the conference's Fall Championships, the Wolverines finished with a team total of 1,440 strokes. The Wolverines shot a combined 341 Friday, then posted a 349 Saturday.
Freshman
Emily Burling (Hudson, Ohio/Hudson) shot consecutive rounds of 77 Friday and Saturday to take second in the Spring Championships.Â
Junior
Lauren Kardos (Pittsburgh, Pa./North Allegheny) finished seventh overall in the 72-hole standings with a four-round score of 336. She shot 82 Friday, then carded an 84 Saturday. She earned Second Team All-Presidents' Athletic Conference by finishing seventh overall.Â
Senior Hailey Muñoz (Sparta, N.J./Morris Catholic) earned Honorable Mention All-PAC after placing 13th in the four-round standings. Muñoz finished a 362. She recorded an 86 Friday and then shot 87 in the final round.Â
Senior
Rebekah Gaehring (Hawthorne, N.J./Hawthorne) tied for 25th place as she compiled a 404. Gaehring posted a 96 in Friday's third round and then finished with a 102 Saturday. Sophomore
Gabrielle Kinneer (Mount Pleasant, Pa./Mount Pleasant) rounded out the lineup by taking 27th with a four-round total of 405. Kinneer shot a 119 Friday and then posted a 101 Saturday.
Golfers must play all four rounds of the Championships to be eligible for individual honors. Burling joined the Grove City program at the start of the spring semester after transferring into the College.
Westminster's Katie Rose Rankin earned medalist with a 312. She edged Burling by three strokes for the Spring Championships individual crown. Washington & Jefferson won the team title with a score of 1,332. Westminster finished second at 1,343. Thirty-eight women played all four rounds of the Championships.
