NEW WILMINGTON, Pa. -- Five Grove City College men's lacrosse players scored multiple goals Wednesday night to help the Wolverines capture a 20-5 victory at Westminster in Presidents' Athletic Conference action at UPMC Sports Complex.
Freshman midfielder
Mason Lyons (Lancaster, Pa./Manheim Township) paced the offensive attack by scoring a career-best four goals. Senior attack
Mac Faircloth (Greensboro, N.C./Page), senior attack
Stewart McClain (Lancaster, Pa./Lampeter-Strasburg) and freshman attack
Owen Edkins (Liberty Township, Ohio/Lakota East) all scored three times while freshman midfielder
Caden Ryan (Reading, Pa./Schuylkill Valley) fired in two goals.

Sam Stevenson (Greenwood, Ind./Center Grove), junior midfielder
Tyson Bui (Harleysville, Pa./Souderton), sophomore midfielder
Ethan Binns (Saint John's, Fla./The Bolles School), freshman attack
Jake Parker (Edgewater, Md./St. Mary's Annapolis) and freshman midfielder
Tucker Saums (Greensboro, N.C./Northwest Guilford) also scored for Grove City.
Grove City trailed 2-0 midway through the first quarter but surged ahead as McClain scored three consecutive goals. Bui and junior attack
Davis Schneider (Winfield, Ill./Wheaton Academy) assisted McClain's first two goals, which came in the first quarter. McClain's third goal came 4:05 into the second period after a second Bui assist.
Lyons scored an unassisted goal, then Faircloth pumped in three consecutive goals to give Grove City a 7-3 halftime lead. Stevenson opened Grove City's six-goal barrage in the third quarter by scoring 40 seconds into the period as Faircloth provided the assist.

Grove City won 24 of the 28 faceoffs. Sophomore
Evan Gill (Irwin, Pa./Norwin) won 13 of 16 opportunities while senior
Colton Lehberg (Rancho Santa Fe, Calif./Santa Fe Christian) won 11 of 12 faceoffs. Both men had seven ground balls.
McDermott and sophomore defender
Gabriel Mayer (Palm Harbor, Fla./Calvary Christian) both caused two turnovers. Westminster finished the game with 28 turnovers while Grove City had 20 turnovers.
Grove City outshot the Titans, 49-22. Senior goalie
Tyler Gladstone (Marriottsville, Md./Marriotts Ridge) earned the victory by making six saves during the first three quarters. Junior
Kyle Gill (Irwin, Pa./Norwin) played the final 15 minutes and made two saves.
The Wolverines will visit conference foe Chatham at 1 p.m. Saturday.
